Regulations that define the categories of persons who are required to publish statements of assets are nr.115/1996 Act for declaring the assets and officials, magistrates, of people in positions of leadership and control and public officials, published in Monitorul Journal of Romania, Part I, nr.263/28.10.1996, with subsequent amendments and Law nr.161/2003 on some measures to ensure transparency in exercising public dignities, public functions and in the business environment, prevention and punishment of corruption, published in the Official Gazette, Part I, nr.279/2003, with subsequent amendments.
