The main tasks of the inspectorate are:

 

a) planning, organizing, coordinating and controlling forces and means employed in the execution of permanent and temporary assignments, according to the law, the orders of the Minister of Administration and Interior and the Inspector General of the Romanian Gendarmerie;

b) ensure that the knowledge of the operational area of responsibility of the district disposal targets data competence, taking necessary measures to ensure the quality of security, protecting and defending them;

c) plan, organize, coordinate and monitor the preparation for combat and educate the staff depending on the specific tasks and each sub-units which, taken for high quality human resources;

d) organize, prepare and coordinate the preparation of continuous improvement frameworks, gendarmes contract employees and contract personnel in the headquarters and subordinate subunits;

e) organize and monitor the study and assimilation of foreign languages by the inspectorate frameworks;

f) ensure the increasing tactical and operational knowledge, increasing training of staff, acquiring the latest knowledge in science and military art;

g) plans, organizes, coordinates and controls the training staff in order to prevent, limit and follow the removal of natural calamities and disasters of large proportions;

h) ensure the implementation of measures for maintaining order and discipline among military farms herds and take preventive measures, research and reporting of serious events, according to orders in force;

i) drive the selection, training and promotion of staff, evaluating them according to skills training, morale and performance;

j) organize, coordinate, guide and monitor activities to ensure material and technical missions, the process of training and education, feeding conditions, equipment and accommodation of entitlement due to staff;

k) organize the work of medical and animal health unit and subordinate subunits, with the support of Maramureş County Medical Center of the Ministry of Administration and Interior;

l) running on Gospodaririi control and preventive use of materials and financial unit and subordinate structures;

m) solves the limit of powers, the military reports, requests, notifications and complaints of citizens and the chief inspector addressed this work to guide subordinate subunits;

n) to organize, guide and monitor compliance with the protection of labor inspectorate and subordinate subunits;
